I absolutely love pearls, particularly baroque pearls, which have this wonderful irregular shape. Working with my supplier, we chose large pearls where there natural shape and irregularities can be seen and enjoyed. They are gently dyed to a beautiful delicate shade of grey/blue which seems to enhance their natural irridescence or "narce" - being the technical term.

These very special pearls, as with all pearls, should be the last item you put on and the first item you take off, so they do not come in direct contact with perfumes, creams or harsh chemicals which may harm their narce. Please always try to remember to gently wipe clean your pearls after wear.  

The pearls are strung on a strong cotton/polyester mix thread and knotted between each pearl. I have choosen to string the pearls onto a beautiful sterling silver, diamond look clasp, which has a strong magnetic fastening. This decorative clasp can be worn at the front to be seen or at the back of the neck. Also 3 sterling silver diamond look "roundelle" spacers have been placed within the pearls for a subtle touch of elegance,  echoing the look of the clasp.

Always store your pearls in a soft pouch or box away from harsh surfaces or edges. Always ensure your pearls are the first thing you take off and last thing you put on to avoid contact with perfumes, body lotions or harsh chemicals which may harm the lustre of the of pearls.
