The Freya has been created from a sterling silver chain and T-Bar, then plated in 18crt gold - known as vermeil. The T-Bar has a lovely weight, just enough to keep it sitting centrally when worn. The chain link has been selected for a specific look reflecting the antique chains worn on pocket watches.
The chain is approx 18" and has a vermeil clasp to the back for easy fastening.
Gold vermeil describes the gold plating (onto sterling silver) when it meets specific thickness and purity requirments.
We offer a re-gilding/gold plating and restringing service for our pieces and we're always just an email away for advice.

If something isn't quite right, here's how it works.
I accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items need to come back unworn, in their original condition and in the original packaging.
To start a return, email me at enquiries@jojoharris.com with your order number and I'll get back to you within 48 hours with everything you need.
Return postage is down to you unless the item is faulty or I've sent the wrong thing. I'd recommend a tracked service as I can't take responsibility for anything lost on the way back.
Exchanges
If you'd like something different, just return the original and place a new order.
Faulty Items
It's very rare, but if something arrives damaged, please email me within 48 hours with a photo. I'll sort it - a replacement or full refund, whichever you'd prefer.

Because these are made especially for you, I'm not able to accept returns on bespoke orders unless they arrive faulty.

You know when you are short of time but want to look finished without being able to give anything too much thought? Well the Freya necklace is the one to reach for everytime. It's as useful as a pair of Madge hoop earrings; it lifts your outfit, adds a youthful look and doesn't need any co-ordinating with your clothing.
You can layer it with a longer or shorter necklace or wear it on its own.
I selected the chain link specifically not be too big. I also wanted a look of the antique chains I use to see, with pocket watches hanging from them, when I visited endless antique markets with my Mum. I loved those old watch faces!
Details and Care
Sterling silver, 18crt gold vermeil.
Always store in flat box or soft pouch and keep away from harsh chemicals which may damage the gold plating. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear.

Gold vermeil sits over a sterling silver base and is generally well tolerated.
Gold plated pieces use a thinner layer on brass.
