I understand why, historically, pearls were given to girls on their 21st birthday. They are timeless and deserve to be treasured. Their delicate "nacre" (surface) seems to illuminate and flatter every skin tone. The hand selected large baroque pearls, which make up this necklace, look both contemporary, due to their size and irregular shape, and timeless due to their very nature.

When I put the Coco necklace on (that could be anything from jeans and a shirt to a black dress) I feel lifted and finished.

Coco Chanel had an unwaving passion for pearls as did many other style icons past and present; I completely understand why and share it to! 

We have knotted between each pearl, for a finer finish and strung onto a sterling silver clasp.

Always make sure pearl jewellery is the first thing you take off and the last thing you put on to ensure the pearls are kept away from perfumes and body lotions, which may damage the delicate surface (nacre) of the pearl.
