Owning Your Look: The Art of Layering Jewellery

One of the true joys of owning a jewellery brand is hearing how customers wear their pieces — experimenting with layering jewellery and mixing textures in ways that feel personal and expressive.
When I’m designing, I’m always thinking about how a piece can be worn and what it can be styled with. I want designs to enhance your look without feeling overly “matchy,” which can often look dated. The magic happens when pieces complement one another while still feeling individual.
Mixing Pearls and Gold

Above is another favourite combination — pearls and gold.
Here, the Helena has been mixed with the Kat pearl necklace, each featuring different sizes of pearls. Alongside them sits the beautiful gold Elenore, worn long, with the detachable coin from the Helena added in.
This playful approach to layering jewellery feels both stylish and individual. It shows how combining varying pearl sizes, chain lengths and textures creates a look that is curated yet effortless.
Jewellery Is for Every Day

A customer recently messaged me on Instagram to say she was no longer keeping her jewellery stored away for special occasions. Instead of saving it for formal outfits, she decided she would enjoy it every day.
I absolutely loved that.
Above is a perfect example of an everyday look, layered pearl necklaces worn in a cool, relaxed way. Jewellery doesn’t need to wait for an event. It can elevate the simplest outfit and bring joy to daily life.
Quality jewellery is always a good investment — so don’t save it “for best.”
Wear It, Mix It, Own It
Layering jewellery is about confidence and creativity.
Enjoy it. Wear it. Mix it up. Combine textures. Play with lengths. Create your own personal style and make each piece work harder in your wardrobe.
And I’d love to see how you mix your pieces — all new ideas are always welcome.
