The Brief.

I love a love story! The gentleman who briefed us for this engagement was very clear about what he wanted. Two lab grown diamonds, encased in gold, (as opposed to claw set) two different shapes and each to be close to a carat (weight/size)each.  

The Process.

I hand selected the diamonds, ensuring each diamond was certified (a certification of cut, clarify and carat weight) After reviewing options and pricing with the customer we opted for a beautiful Emerald cut and Pear shape; both with excellent clarity, colour and cut. When putting two diamonds together in one ring I believe they need to match - in terms of colour and clarity so they look as though they belong with each other. 

Once the diamonds were selected it was time to design the ring on CAD. Once approved we then cast the ring in gold and set the stones. Final step was Hallmarking.

Lab grown diamonds are an extremely cost effective way to enjoy larger diamonds.

It's such a privilage to play a small part in a couples' romantic journey, producing a piece to last their lifetime together.
